MARTI

MARTI travels the world over. Her work is part of permanent museum collections, including the archives of the Musée de Louvre in Paris. She has exhibited in shows in Paris, London, San Francisco, Singapore, Phnom Penh, Dacca, Pondicherry, Katmandu, and Tokyo.

 

Her GREENLANDIC work has appeared in museums and cultural centers in Greenland, Denmark and France.

 

MARTI is also a Penguin Books author and has written for the New York Times, Washington Post, Le Monde-Guardian Weekly, and Science Magazine. Her book, This Earth of Ours, has a prologue by His Holiness the Dalai Lama. 

 

As an environmentalist and social activist, she is committed to safeguarding nature and indigenous people.

 

The Times of India has called MARTI “the Salvador Dali of photography.”
